Chapter Six, Matt Wass

As a running IT company of 22 years, we thought it’s time to give you a little insight to the people who work here, what they do and more excitingly, what kind of potato they would be!

Matt is our Junior IT Technician, on a normal day Matt is also out and about visiting schools, helping teachers and making sure everything is in working order ready for the pupils day ahead.

Matt has been with AIT for just under 2 years, he started as an apprentice and has worked his way to Junior IT Technician!

We asked our staff 5 important questions to help you get to know us in a fun way

Favourite TV show? The IT Crowd.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Dakdoritang, the best Korean food possible.

Favourite drink? Iced Macchiato, on a nice summers day.

Three things you’d take on a desert island? A small plane, a pilot and fuel.

What form of potato would you be, given the chance? Sweet potato fries, delicious.

Chapter Five, Frances McVeigh

As a running IT company of 22 years, we thought it’s time to give you a little insight to the people who work here, what they do and more excitingly, what kind of potato they would be!

Fran is our Business Development Manager, she is head of the Marketing Team, and is currently developing our new website. She works closely with clients and being all round great!

Fran has been here for nearly 6 months and has taken the role by storm! She has created her own all women marketing team and is a fantastic leader, (also our mother hen), what would we do without her?!

Favourite TV show? Gossip Girl, xoxo.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Truffle pizza, everyday.

Favourite drink? Margaux (and shots)

Three things you’d take on a desert island? A Kindle. My iPod from 2006, it was called Buggles (hopefully some will get the irony there)… and wine.

What form of potato would you be, given the chance? Definitely a triple cooked chip, with truffle and parmesan.

Chapter Four, Jamie Harfield

“Carpe Diem”

As a running IT company of 22 years, we thought it’s time to give you a little insight to the people who work here, what they do and more excitingly, what kind of potato they would be!

Jamie is our Helpdesk manager. His day to day includes categorising levels of importance for tickets, managing the IT technicians and a professional at stinking out the kitchen making microwave meals!

Jamie has been here 7 years, in that time he started as a first line technician and worked his way up to Helpdesk manager. He is also part time police officer on the weekends.

During the week he keeps schools running smoothly, on the weekend he’s keeping the streets safe.

Favourite TV show? The Rookie.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Any type of pizza, as long as there’s no pineapple anywhere near it!

Favourite drink? Lemonade, 7-up, sprite, you name it!

Three things you’d take on a desert island? A boat, a Sat phone and water filtration

What form of potato would you be, given the chance? Definitely curly fries.

Chapter Three, Gabryl Oleshko

“Whatever you’re thinking, think bigger”- Tony Hsieh

As a running IT company of 22 years, we thought it’s time to give you a little insight to the people who work here, what they do and more excitingly, what kind of potato they would be!

Gabryl is one of our IT Technicians apprentices. His day to day tasks include visits to schools to lend a helping hand in all that is IT, vital colleague in the sales department and all round office coffee man!

Gabs has been here for 7 months meaning his role of the office clown is in full swing!

Favourite TV show? Loki.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Spaghetti Bolognese with extra cheese of course.

Favourite drink? Coffee, coffee, coffee!!

Three things you’d take on a desert island? Helicopter, Helicopter pilot and oranges (for the vitamins).

What form of potato would you be, given the chance? Oven baked potato slices.

Chapter Two, Ben Sargent

As a running IT company of 22 years, we thought it’s time to give you a little insight to the people who work here, what they do and more excitingly, what kind of potato they would be!

Ben is our Apprentice IT Technician. If he’s not in the office making us all laugh with his one liners, he’s probably out and about on school visits helping teachers with their day to day issues.

Ben has been with us for a whole year, meaning he has officially grown into his role of ‘office prankster’. Having Ben on the team makes a huge difference for our company!

Favourite TV show? Friends, because it’s my comfort show.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chicken and rice.

Favourite drink? Haig and Lemonade, any day of the week.

Three things you’d take on a desert island? Power supply, speakers and The Weeknds discography= perfect.

What form of potato would you be, given the chance? It would have to be potato smileys, they are my childhood favourite.

Chapter One, Ashley Woodward

As a running IT company of 22 years, we thought it’s time to give you a little insight to the people who work here, what they do and more excitingly, what kind of potato they would be!

Ash is our project manager whose day to day consists of, you guessed it, managing projects!

He has worked with us for just over 11 years, so he knows the ins and outs of the company and how everything runs but more importantly, knows how to make everyone’s teas and coffees.

Jokes aside, he is a busy man with planning projects, assessing risks, communicating with clients and staff, staying on schedule and keeping team morale and motivation up.

Favourite TV show? Grand Designs is an all time favourite, but Schitts Creek always makes me laugh.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? It would have to be a lovely Sunday roast.

Favourite drink? Some sort of cider, preferably drank in the sun.

Three things you’d take on a desert island? A flint stick, because I hate being cold. A radio, because I hate silence and a massive bag of bread because, well, I love bread.

What form of potato would you be, given the chance? Definitely a jacket potato, it may look hard on the outside but on the inside, its a big softie.
